Hi my name is Mia, I am the groomer here at Sandys. The business has been inspired and named after my own dog and beloved family member and I whole heartedly appreciate and understand just how much you love your fur baby and the need for caring, kind grooms that are designed to be within the comfort levels of each individual dog. 

At Sandys your dog will never be caged, I am a lone groomer and only ever have one dog in the salon at anytime. Unless two dogs from the same household are brought in together, then they will be free to roam the salon and secure garden, while the other is groomed.

My main aim is for your dog to have as relaxing experience as possible, being a lone groomer has the benefit of 1-2-1 grooming. Your dog isn't going to be stressed out by outside factors like other dogs or a busy environment that can create a high stress atmosphere at times.

I only use grain free treats as rewards during grooms, but you are free to provide a doggy bag with your own treats if your dog has specific dietry requirements. 

Puppy Grooms, are provided in stages, so that your puppy isn't overstimulated or scared during the introduction. Rushed puppy intros lead to a bad relationship with grooming. Starting your puppy grooms as early as possible is key to establishing a healthy and happy grooming relationship. 

All dogs are welcome to my salon, I will not refuse your dog based on their size. 

Prices for grooms are based on size, coat type and behaviour of the dog whilst being groomed.
